Bear with us while we pull together our Summer Exhibition - we are coming into our 15th year of our BIBLIO ART PRIZE! This is an exhibition of artworks from across the country inspired by contemporary Australian fiction.
Artists are allocated a pre-selected book title randomly (some titles are allocated more than once, by chance) and their job is to interpret the novel in a way that demonstrates their expertise in their field whilst connecting art and book. All mediums are welcome, and all levels of skill are welcome.
Works chosen for exhibition are selected deliberately with diversity in mind. We aim to select from both beginner and established, from younger and older, from local and from further afield, from a range of mediums, and to demonstrate the incredibly broad range of wonderful Australian fiction which is available to us all.
We hope that, with running it over the whole of summer, that as many people as possible can view the show! The launch event is on 9 December at 7pm! All welcome!
We are taking a couple of weeks off in November to make it happen! We'll be closed from 15 November to 1 December.
