Sylvia Plath Theatre - Sunday 22 Aug 2010This production was a hit! The actors played to a full house, and responses from the attending crowd were full of praise for the quality of the drama, and the script. One said there wasn't a dry eye left in the house by the finish. Hats off to Brenda, Laura, Carolyn, Peppa and Meg! Click here for photos of this event.
Paul Burman - Book Launch - Sat 28 Aug 2010Our Melbourne friend (and fellow author) Dmetri Kakmi returned to Port Fairy to introduce Paul Burman's second novel, The Grease Monkey's Tale, to a jam-packed crowd at Blarney Books & Art. It's inspirational to listen to an author read from his own work, and this was no exception. Copies of the books were quickly sold, and at a special price for those attending on the night. For those who missed out, there are still some signed copies available at Blarney Books. Click here for photos of the event! |
